Who we are
Car Service Bindlach is an independent car garage run by Alexander Weigel. We repair, service and improve cars, vans and motorcycles for customers in Bindlach, Bayreuth and a radius of about 20 kilometres. Most of them come on a recommendation. For us that is the best proof that we are doing our job properly.
Our story
Alexander Weigel learned his trade at the Pfeiffer garage in Bayreuth and worked there as an employee. In 2015 he registered a small business of his own on the side, a Kleingewerbe. The two ran alongside each other for seven years, and in 2022 came the step into full self-employment.
Today the workshop sits in the building at Esbachgraben: exactly the right size and the right location for delivering quick and clean service. What has stayed the same since the beginning: we want you to understand your vehicle. That is why we explain what is broken, what is urgent and what can wait, and then you decide.
From the gearbox through the engine to tuning and styling: we are the people to talk to about anything to do with your vehicle. And if there is something we do not do ourselves, we tell you who does.
The workshop
In our workshop at Esbachgraben 3 cars and motorcycles stand side by side: the city car next to the S-Class, the KTM 690 next to the van. The equipment is set up for clean and quick work:
- Three Rotary ramps
- Diagnostic equipment for all common makes, cars and motorcycles
- Air conditioning unit for R134a and R1234yf
- Headlight alignment equipment
Reifenservice Roßner is based in the same building: a specialist business of its own with a tyre changer, a balancing machine and its own tyre store. Everything to do with tyres and storage goes through them, and you stay in the same yard.
How we work
Clean. A tidy workshop is not an end in itself. Keeping things in order means you do not lose screws, you do not miss a leak, and you hand back a car that is as clean inside as it was before.
Professional. We work to manufacturer specifications, with current workshop data and with parts we source ourselves. You get a warranty on our work and on the parts we fit. That is why we do not fit parts brought in from elsewhere, even though we understand the question.
Quick. You get a firm appointment, and when your car arrives the parts are already here. You know in advance how long it will take, and we get in touch if anything changes.
The team
We are a settled team that has worked together for years. At the desk and in the workshop you have the same people, and they know your vehicle.
Alexander Weigel, owner and qualified motor vehicle mechatronics technician: quality matters to him. Spannering and tuning he does out of passion.
Tamara Weigel looks after appointments, bookkeeping and the office. When you call or send an appointment request, it lands with her.
